Underground Railroad Tour in Pittsford Village
Step into history and explore Pittsford Village’s role in the Underground Railroad on this immersive walking tour. Visit homes believed to have sheltered freedom seekers and learn about the courageous families who aided in their journey to freedom. Along the way, discover the powerful stories of resilience, resistance, and hope that shaped our past.
The Historic Pittsford House will be open during the event, featuring live storytelling by members of The Black Storytellers League of Rochester. Through their vivid narratives, you’ll hear firsthand accounts of those who risked everything in pursuit of freedom.
